The Sea´s councilman, Alfonso Villares, visited the ship Falcon, one of the most modern ships of our fleet. During the visit, Villares was able to assist to the unloading operations and to know first hand the characteristics of the Falcon. It is 75 meters long, 14 meters wide, has a capacity of about 2,000 GT and it is equipped with advanced technology: optimizing catches, respecting the environment and improving both the comfort and safety of the crew.
Villares, accompanied by the territorial Xunta de Galicia´s delegate in Coruña, Belén do Campo, praised the work of Pescapuerta and other companies in the fishing sector for the renewal of their fleets, improving the habitability and safety of the vessels, which has a positive impact on the working conditions of the professionals of the sea. Also present during the visit were: José María Rodríguez, Suflenorsa; Javier Calles, General Manager of Pescapuerta and Jose Antonio Vilar, Fleet Manager of Pescapuerta.
