He was accompanied on his visit by the Regional Minister of Fisheries, Rosa Quintana, the Delegate of the Xunta in Vigo, Marta Fernández-Tapias, and the Mayor of Mos, Nidia Arévalo.
Alberto Núñez Feijóo has highlighted these facilities as “an example of cooperation between companies uniting to form the largest cold-storage warehouse in the Ría de Vigo”, as this project is the result of the alliance between the three of the biggest shipping companies of Vigo: Profand, Pereira and Pescapuerta.
The facilities comprise a 12,000 m² building with a storage capacity of more than 19,000 pallets, which has entailed an investment of more than 13 million euros. In addition to this cold-storage warehouse, Frialia Logística also has a freezer warehouse on the seafront of Chapela, parish in the municipality of Redondela.
