Alfonso Villares y Belén do Campo en el Falcon

The Regional Minister of Fisheries and the delegate from the Xunta praised the work of Pescapuerta. They highlighted that our initiatives improve working conditions in the fisheries sector.
The Regional Minister of Fisheries, Alfonso Villares, visited the vessel Falcon, one of the most modern ships in our fleet. During the visit, Villares was able to attend the unloading operations and learn first-hand about the vessel’s characteristics. Measuring 75 metres long and 14 metres wide, it has a capacity of nearly 2,000 GT and is equipped with advanced technology, thus optimising catches, respecting the environment and improving both the comfort and safety of the crew. The regional minister, accompanied by the territorial delegate of the Xunta in Coruña, Belén do Campo, praised the work of Pescapuerta and other companies in the fishing sector for renovating their fleets, improving vessel habitability and safety, which has a positive impact on the working conditions of maritime professionals. The visit also included the presence of José María Rodríguez, Suflenorsa; Javier Calles, CEO of Pescapuerta and José Antonio Vilar, Fleet Manager at Pescapuerta.
